Hello there! I am a graduating senior studying journalism at The University of Texas at Austin! As an aspiring reporter and lifelong bookworm, I am incredibly passionate about storytelling and using my skills as a writer to uplift and spotlight underrepresented communities in media.
During my time taking numerous journalism courses and reporting and editing for the Life & Arts department of The Daily Texan, UT's student newspaper, I gained invaluable experience reporting on the topics and communities I'm passionate about. In addition to reporting on social issues and the lived experiences of marginalized communities, I am interested in theater, music, film, pop culture, and lifestyle journalism.
I have experience in feature writing, entertainment reporting, multimedia storytelling, and print content editing, and I am always seeking ways to use those skills to amplify the voices and stories of marginalized communities in impactful and innovative ways!
